DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nSherubtse Media Society (SMS) commemorated World Inte
 llectual Property Day 2026 under the global theme “IP and Sports: Ready\
 , Set\, Innovate!” with funding support from the Department of Media\, C
 reative Industry and Intellectual Property (DoMCIIP). The celebration high
 lighted the role of intellectual property in fostering creativity\, innova
 tion\, and sports development on April 26\,2026.\nTwo major events marked 
 this year’s observance:\n- Video Competition — Students produced origi
 nal short films reflecting the theme\, showcasing the intersection of inte
 llectual property and sports innovation.\n- Sports Kit Design Challenge 
 — A creative contest where the winning design was awarded the distinctio
 n of being printed as the official Sherubtse College kit\, symbolizing bot
 h innovation and institutional pride.\nThe program also featured a  awaren
 ess talk on Intellectual Property\, aimed at educating students on the imp
 ortance of protecting creative works and innovations. The event concluded 
 with a prize distribution ceremony\, where winners of both competitions we
